US Wins 2 Golds, Silver on opening day of Pan Ams

Fencing at the Pan American Games Seth Kelsey (Brush Prairie, Wash.) won the gold medal against Ruben Limardo (VEN) at the Pan American Games in the men’s individual epee with a score of 12-10. Lee Kiefer (Lexington, Ky.) won the gold medal in the women’s individual foil against teammate Nzingah Prescod (Brooklyn, N.Y.) with a score of 15-9. Prescod earned the silver medal.
