US Fencers Competing at the Veterans World Championships

2011 Veterans World Fencing Championships Fifty-eight U.S. fencers ages 50 and older will represent Team USA at the Veteran World Championships in Porec, Croatia beginning on Wednesday. In 2010, Team USA earned 11 medals at this event – the most podium finishes for a U.S. Team at a World Championships since the 2007 Veteran Worlds. Michael Marx (Boston, Mass.), a four-time Olympian who competed at the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Games in foil and the 1996 Games in epee is coaching the US Team at the 2011 Veterans World Championships.
